Then there was Marathonis mentioned in last post but didn't add photos. This was so gorgeous, made even sweeter cos of struggle to get somewhere safe from the wind - some coves are so weedy, dragging the anchor is a real problem and in the middle of the night on a rocky shore is a nightmare so to have a mooring and not have to worry was bliss. Mind you picking up moorings here is very different from cruising in australian waters. you have to motor in , cut the engine , do an arch & judge it to get to the buoy just as you stop and then it has to be lassoed with one rope & quickly get another rope thru the eye on the buoy, all the while wind pushing on the bow Making it a challenge to hang on. I was a total lassoo (and spelling) failure last year so stick to the helm -not sure where i can do least damage!
Jack T -recognise the t shirt (as i survey the island vista)which has followed me thru so many travels!
I am becoming so fond of the goats - just cant eat it again.
It is surreal to be here amongst all these islands but still have Turkey only a few km away.

Updates on the trip look great Jac.
